Shan Correa holds degrees from the University of Washington and the University of Hawaii. She has worked as a writing consultant, a freelance writer, and an editor and has published many newspaper articles and stories for children in magazines such as Cricket and Jack and Jill. Gaff is her first children’s book. Correa lives in Hawaii.
