Every season, our second favorite thing to do (after introducing all the new books being published) is to introduce all the new paperbacks and revised titles coming out. As usual, we have a wonderful list of old new titles that we have loved and that will all look stunning in paperback. We hope you enjoy!

Little Rabbit Lost PB

It is Little Rabbit’s birthday and his family surprises him with wrapped presents and a special trip to Rabbit World Theme Park. Little Rabbit is excited by the noise, color, and crowded activity of the park. He insists he is a big rabbit now and ignores his parents’ warnings to stay close. But when he suddenly finds himself all alone, he doesn’t feel quite so grown up anymore.

Fabulous Fishes

From the spiky lionfish and the brightly colored clownfish to lanternfishes and hatchetfishes that flash lights so they can find each other in the deepest, darkest parts of the ocean, children will be fascinated by the breadth of sea life depicted.

Moonflower Revised

As the moon shimmers down, bats swoop, hawkmoths flit, owls hunt, and the moonflower unfurls for its one night in the moonlight. In this lyrical yet accurate account (now revised!) of nature at night, readers will learn how moths drink, how bats “see,” how bumblebees sleep, how vines climb, and even how to plant your own moonflower.

Place for Turtles Revised

In simple yet informative language, A Place for Turtles (now revised!) provides an intriguing look at turtles and the ecosystems that support their survival. Bond’s stunning, realistic paintings depict a variety of turtles and their environments. Stewart also introduces readers to the ways human action or inaction can affect turtle populations, and offers a list of things they can do to help protect turtles in their own communities.

When Rain Falls PB

Veteran children’s book author Melissa Stewart takes a lyrical look at the behavior of animals in forests, fields, wetlands, and deserts and briefly describes how each creature interacts with its rained-soaked environment. Constance Bergum’s soft watercolor paintings colorfully depict the animals and special features of each habitat.

Random Body Parts

Which body part, if spread out flat, would cover a tennis court? Stretched end to end, which body parts would wrap four times around the equator? What’s the hardest substance in the human body? In these pages you will discover the astonishing answers to these questions and many more!

Leo Dog of the Sea

After three ocean voyages, Leo, a hardened old sea dog, knows not to trust anyone but himself. But when he sets sail with Magellan on a journey to find a westward route to the Spice Islands, he develops new friendships with Magellan’s scribe, Pigafetta, and Marco, his page. Together, the three of them experience hunger and thirst, storms and doldrums, and mutinies and hostile, violent encounters. Will they ever find safe passage?

Amazing Mr Franklin PB

Everyone knows Benjamin Franklin was an important statesman, inventor, and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. But did you know he started the first public library in America?

Rocket Main PB

On February 20, 1962, as millions of Americans waited anxiously, astronaut John Glenn blasted off in his rocket ship, Friendship 7,  and became the first American to orbit the Earth.
