"A word of warning: Do not read Gilbert de la Frogponde to your child at bedtime, or you may find yourself in the same predicament I did: I couldn't get him to stop laughing and go to sleep. Although my five year old may be prone to fits of giggling, I had to agree with him about this one. Gilbert de la Frogponde is witty, creative, and downright hilarious. Even adults are bound to grin as the bamboozled chefs slurp down their last slugs and beg Gilbert for more recipes.
