Where Are You?
On his first visit to a supermarket with his grandfather, Harry smells cupcakes and dashes off to find them. As Harry merrily follows the delicious smell through the bustling store, Grandpa searches the aisles and shelves for Harry. Just as Harry finds the cupcakes, he realizes that Grandpa is not with him. Suddenly the supermarket, crowded with strangers, seems frightening to Harry. Finally the two collide and have a happy reunion.
Children will rejoice in the uplifting and satisfying ending as Harry gets his cupcake and his beloved Grandpa back. A child’s overwhelming experience of being separated from an adult is presented in an unthreatening way in Francesca Simon’s charming story. David Melling’s delightful and bright illustrations colorfully bring to life the endearing and spirited characters.
